Tomato pasta is an Italian pasta recipe with the boiled pasta tossed with freshly prepared tomato puree and a generous use of choicest Italian herbs.
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 3 cloves
Onion (chopped) 1no
Tomatoes (blanched) 4 no’s
Tomato puree 3 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
Sugar ½ tsp
vinegar ½ tsp
Chilli flakes ½ tsp
Pepper powder ¼ tsp
Oregano ¼ tsp
Bell pepper (red and green) each ½ no
Boil the water and add spaghetti and cook till 80% done.
Heat olive oil in a pan add chopped garlic, chopped onions, blanched tomatoes, tomato puree, tomato ketchup, sugar, vinegar, Chilli flakes, pepper powder and add required water cook it for 5 minutes.
Now add oregano, thyme, rosemary, chopped red and green bell pepper pieces.
Lower the heat and simmer until as thick.
Now the cooked pasta should be add to the sauce pan mix it slowly.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
