Vegetable Oats Pancake | Eggless Vegetable Pancake recipe – Breakfast Recipe

  1. Here is what I was able to determine on the recipe:
    Makes 9-10 medium sized pancakes

    Ingredients:
    1 cup Quick cooking oats
    1 gram Flour
    1/2 cup chickpea flour
    1/4 cup Greek yogurt
    1 grated Carrot (small size)
    1/4 cup Cabbage (finely chopped)
    1/2 cup of Red and Yellow bell peppers
    2 Green Chilies (finely chopped)
    1/2 inch piece Ginger
    1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder
    1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
    1/2 tsp. Garam masal (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper powder
    Baking soda – a generous pinch
    Oil for frying
    Salt to taste

    Directions:
    Grind oats to a fine powder.
    Take oat’s powder and place into a big bowl.
    Add gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, Garam masala and pepper powder into the bowl.
    Using a whisk, mix the ingredients in the bowl until they are combined.
    Then add yogurt and a cup of water. Stir well.
    Now add the green chlies, ginger, carrot, cabbage, onion, red and yellow pepper, coriander leaves and mint leaves.
    Finally add a generous pinch of baking soda and mix well.
    Spread a teaspoon of oil in a heated pan.
    Pour a laddle full of batter into pan and spread it evenly.
    Cook pancake on a medium heat until the pancake is brown underneath.
    Flip the pancakes and cook from other side until brown as well.
    Add oil to pan and repeat cooking pancakes for the remaining batter.
    Serve hot with plain yogurt or tomato ketchup.
