Traditionally the custard for crème brûlée is made with cream, and egg yolks, we switch it up with a non-so-obvious (but delicious) alternative.
Caramelizing the sugar on top of the crème brûlée is usually done with a small butane torch. Let’s just say that the torch was butane, but it was not “small”…
