VEGAN MOZARELLA CHEESE RECIPE | Vegan Pizza Cheese | Gluten Free
For everybody who’s looking for the perfect mozzarella cheese to put on a vegan pizza here it is: out vegan mozzarella cheese recipe! This is a fantastic sliceable, grateable vegan mozzarella cheese! It’s super easy to make this vegan melting cheese. Perfect on crackers, in sandwiches, or on vegan pizza and in grilled cheese toasties!
It’s healthy and low-fat, and gluten-free.
This is an amazing vegan recipe and probably the closest thing to real mozzarella that you can make at home.

– 1 cup vegetable Milk
– 6 tbsp Potato Starch*
– 1 tsp Salt
– 1 tbsp Onion powder
– 2 tsp Garlic powder
– 4 tsp Soy Yogurt
– 6 tsp vegan Butter


– At cold, mix the vegetable milk and the potato starch, the salt, the onion and the garlic powder
– Turn on the heat and keep stirring.
– When it starts bubbling and getting thicker add the soy yogurt
– Keep stirring until the yogurt is well mixed, then add the vegan butter
– Mix the butter for 4 minutes
– Put the mix quickly in a previously greased glass container, let it cool down, and then put it in the fridge
– Next day it’s ready to get unmold, and we can use it in a pizza or in a sandwich
– Enjoy!

– This cheese won’t melt, since it’s not made or carrageenan
– When the mix it’s cool let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours, and it will be ready to use

*P.S.- In the video I said that are 8 tbsp of Potato Starch, when in fact you should use only 6 tbsp.

  1. Hi. I really like this recipe as I can’t have algae and this looks like a slicablecheese finally. I have 2 questions though, Coud I sub the soy yoghurt for homemade cashew yoghurt? I can’t have soy either 🙁 The other one is, why is vegan butter necessary? is it possible to sub a reduced amount of coconut oil or an equal amount of non-hydregenated vegetable margarine? I can’t buy vegan butter in my country 🙁
    I hope you can help me, I would realllllly love to have slicable cheese! :))

  2. I absolutely love this recipe and want to make it so bad. However, I only have stainless steel cookware and I’m afraid it will stick when I’m cooking it. I like the fact that it is also a very budget friendly recipe and it looks delicious!

  3. Hello! Looks great but not sure what kind of milk you might be referring to as I have never seen Veg. Milk at the grocery store. I normally use cashew or coconut milk will this recipe work with either of those? Can you please explain what Veg. Milk is and where to get it from? Thank you so much!
