VEGAN GRAVY FRIES | #itsallgravy | Hella Herbivore


This is a really simple recipe for those late night junk food cravings #drunkfood

BAKED FRIES

1 potato
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tablespoon olive oil

Cut potato into the size of fries
Add in all the ingredients with the cut potatoes in a baking sheet, making sure to coat all the fries evenly
Throw into an oven at 450 degrees for 20 minutes (timing may vary depending on your oven)
Make sure to flip half way

GRAVY SAUCE

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 onion, sliced
1-2 cups chopped mushrooms
1-2 tablespoons tahini
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 cup alternative milk
1/4 cup minced parsley

On medium heat, add the sliced onions with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cook until onions are slightly translucent
Add mushrooms
Once all that is cooked, add tahini, soy sauce, and milk
Simmer for a couple minutes then add parsley
Mix it all up and plate that bad boy over the fries
Feel free to garnish with some sliced green onions or leave it as it is
