Looking for a totally clean, kid-approved recipe using all real food? Then you’ve found it in this vegan baked apple dessert that you can make in the crockpot! And the best part is that it’s so easy, you don’t even have to measure the ingredients… Just add as much or as little of each ingredient as you’d like!
Raisins or Craisins
Non-stick cooking spray (or olive oil spray)
1. Core each apple, and peel the top half
2. Brush the exposed part of the apple with lemon to avoid browning
3. Spray your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray and pour 1/2 cup water into the bottom
4. Mix the brown sugar, raisins, and walnuts, and stuff the mixture into the apple cavity
5. Drizzle maple syrup on top, and sprinkle with cinnamon
6. Bake on high for 2-3 hours
