Tante’s Medicine, Christmas Cocktails

Warm cocktails, wait a minute? What? Yeah, CMC brings in a warm cocktail because its cold outside (some places) so we want you to be ready for it! This cocktail brings warm flavor to brandy and benedictine or, straight up B&B.

This cocktail brings a lot of a medicinal feel to it with the warming throat soothing honey, the herbal qualities of benedictine, the alcohol qualities of brandy and the holiday spices. This feels like a curative cocktail, not an over potent cocktail even with the heat bringing alcohol rising off the glass.

Also, a bit of a soap box goes on in this episode!

  1. I like warm/hot drinks. And, like Ian, I like the way the heat brings the flavour up into your sinuses. Flavour is like 75% smell, so if you can get more flavour without adding anything, I’m all for it.
I’m not a fan of the way the alcohol tends to float up though, especially if you’re heavy handed with it, so I wouldn’t be adding extra purely for more flavour.

  2. drink sounds great will make today. star wars made my inner child happy. maybe my inner child can get over how Lucas raped it with episode 1. last do not judge a man’s boobs. eyes up here.
