  1. It’s not vegetarian if you use chicken broth!  There is a vegetarian broth called Imagine “No Chicken” broth, which has a very similar taste to the real thing!

I’m going to have to give this one a try,,, looks yummy,,, about 20 years ago I tried making a lentil soup and the lentils never softened up,,, not sure if it was the recipe I tried or the lentils!! I was so discouraged to have a bowl of HARD lentil soup! LOL!!  Will try ur recipe for sure!!! THX for sharing!!!
