Shrimp and Clam Linguini Recipe – Delicious Italian Food with Fresh Herbs

1/2 pound cleaned shrimp
4 cloves garlic chopped
1/4 cup clam juice
6 oz. chopped clams
2 tablespoons white wine
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup parmesan cheese (more for garnish)
Chopped fresh basil thyme and parsley
1/2 pound linguini noodles – cook for 8-10 minutes until al-dente

Melt butter add garlic stir and add olive oil
Add wine and clam juice
Add cream and thicken for 10-15 minutes on low heat
Mix in salt and pepper
Add clams and cook on low for 5 minutes
Add shrimp cook 2 minutes each side
Add parmesan cheese stir 1 minute
Add herbs and serve over noodles

  1. This was tasty! I’m an “okay” cook but this recipe made me look like I’m pretty good at it. This was only good for about 3 servings in my home and we are 5. I will need to double up on the ingredients next time (Yes, I will be making this again but not before I try more of your recipes). I love your videos!     Thanks I’ve been making this for years and all my friends ask me to make it. I stay away from seafood + tomato unless it’s cocktail sauce, just my own preference. You should also check out my pesto shrimp linguini recipe it’s awesome.

  3. This looks great ! I’ve made linguini with red sauce and clams for years. It’s time to go for this meal with the white sauce and shrimp. I’m thinking probably this week. Nice job on the video.
