2 pounds ham steak
1 cup Holland House Sherry cooking wine
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp cayenne pepper
Melt butter in a skillet on low heat, then add mustard, brown sugar, and Holland House Sherry cooking wine. Stir until dissolved and smooth.
Place ham steak in skillet and spoon sauce on top.
Cover and bake at 325F for 40 minutes.
Remove cover then baste and bake for 10 more minutes
Serve and enjoy!
Note: You can use Holland House Cooking Wines in the amount your recipe requires, but reduce the amount of added salt in your recipe, as Holland House Cooking Wines are seasoned with 1 teaspoon of salt per cup.
