Sausage Hash Brown Casserole ~ Christmas


This video is about Sausage Hashbrown Casserole- Sausage, hash browns, peppers and cheese combine for a hearty Christmas morning breakfast.

Ingredient List:

1 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes-thawed ( I used southern style)
1/2 red bell pepper chopped
1/2 green bell pepper chopped
1/2 med onion chopped
1 large clove garlic minced
1/2 cup sour cream
3 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 lb sausage. Turkey, Pork, or Italian- cooked and drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Prepare casserole as shown in the video and bake in a 365 degree F oven for 45 minutes covered with aluminum foil. Then bake an additional 10 minutes or until done.
This casserole can be assembled the day before and baked the next morning. Enjoy!

  2. Karen, having you and your videos back totally made my day!!! You are the Picasso of recipe videos! Every clip of this was gorgeous. It’s the littlest things that blow me away. Maybe others missed how the half cup of sour cream was presented immaculately in the glass dish surrounded by deep reds and greens of the chopped peppers. Nary a smear could I find anywhere! What was best is that the dish obviously turned out delicious! OMG! That would make a good dinner for me! I can’t wait until Christmas to try this! Thanks for a magnificent, artistic, and appealing recipe and video!
