Sage Nut Roast – Vegan Recipe

Sage Nut Roast

A delicious, carvable nut roast, flavoured with sage. Perfect for a vegan Christmas main course.

400g x Cashews
100g x Walnuts
2 cups x Fresh Breadcrumbs (explain that it was made in the food processor – supermarket breadcrumbs contain milk and fish)
1/2 cup x Chickpea flour
1 x Onion
1 x Carrot
1 x Celery
1 clove x Garlic
2 sprigs x Fresh sage
1/4 cup x Olive oil
1 teaspoon x Yeast extract (Vegemite) dissolved into 100ml boiled water
1 teaspoon x Salt
1/2 teaspoon x Black pepper
