Roasted Chickpeas & Seeds | High Protein | Vegan | No Oil | Delicious

Here is a simple and delicious, high protein, vegan recipe. After I saw a friend of mine on Instagram post his version of this, I decided to make my own and share it with you guys.

Recipe:
3 cups (2 cans) chickpeas
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup pumpkin seeds
¼ cup hemp seeds
¼ nutritional yeast
1-2 tsp black pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder & onion powder

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and spread on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 mins. Let cool when done and place on a bed of greens or mixed veg. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching, let me know if you try it!

  1. You probably won’t see that but I see you and I just wanted to express my gratitude, I’ve learned so much from you. This has to be the best though, simple but I’m a triathlete and I’m vegan and this has fueled me to some great results. Thank you.

  2. I know this is an old video, but can you make one on how to make chickpeas? Or maybe link a good video you recommend on how to cook them? I want to start making these myself. I eat them a lot when I go to vegan restaurants.

  3. I would love to see more videos like this!! I am thinking about going vegan, knowing all the benefits such. I have been trying to make a few different meals, but they end up tasting bland or dry making it hard to eat. I would love to put a vinaigrette on top to make it less dry, but that looks really good! Gonna give it a shot tonight after my workout.

  4. Can you comment on how you get away with not consuming salt for the most part? Last time I checked humans need sodium to function, It’s important to prevent cramps during exercise.

  5. How many servings do you split this into? I know I could figure it out by adding it up and adjusting for myself, but just curious. Thanks! Looks delicious!

  6. thanks so much for spreading the veggie vibes! I’m stoked i found you for my transition into getting bigger and stronger. i was thinking about a gym until i heard you talking so much about calisthenics so i think thats what way ill go. thanks for all the meal videos you are a truly epic individual!
