Quick and Easy Quinoa Pilaf Recipe ( Protein Rich, gluten free, Vegan Recipe)


Quinoa Pulao in Biryani style is quick, easy and tasty. Enjoy it with Yogurt (Raita) or Chutney of your choice. This recipe is protein rich, nutritious, gluten free and low carb. Great as a side or make it your main course.

Ingredients/ Method

1 cup quinoa
2 cups of veggies of your choice
1 small onion
1/2 tsp cumin and mustard seeds
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp biryani masala
cilantro for garnish

Method

Fry cumin and mustard in hot oil. Add onions. Add spices. Mix well. Add veggies. Thoroughly mix. Add quinoa. Add water. Cover the pressure cooker and may be give 1-2 whistles. Let the cooker cool down and then open. Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve with pickles, raita or chutney
