I have been loving the combination of peanut butter and chocolate lately. So I had an idea to recreate the popular Peanut Butter Easter Eggs and put a healthy twist on them. The results were so amazing that I’ve been making these chocolate eggs for my family every week for the past month. Definitely give them a try! You will not be disappointed.

  1. I really like how you think of alternatives for everyone, even for people with nut allergy in a peanut recipe, i myself am not allergic but im sure it would help people who are, and also t=for those who like sunflower seeds c:

  2. Hmmm… I have a thought:
Using a small circle of paper attached to some string threaded through the peanut egg (before being frozen), you can likely easily hang these, and get a very consistent coating before the chocolate hardens. Then when it is done, you can simply pull the string out! I suppose this would be similar to waxing candles, and quite easy to do (though it is a little more complicated)!

Just a thought! They look delicious! I may make some variation of these for the holidays! 🙂
