Oats Cheese Sandwich Recipe | How to make Healthy Oats Sandwich | Quick Easy Breakfast

This is one of our favourite recipe that is enjoyed by everyone at our home from kids to adults. Oats Cheese sandwich is a delicious and highly nutritious breakfast and tiffin box recipe with the goodness of oats and cheese. If you have done your prep a night before, than in the morning, these quick and easy Sandwiches will be ready in less than 5 minutes.

Ingredients to make Oats cheese sandwich:-

1 Cup Oats 1 cup chopped onion
5-6 cheese slices 10-12 brown bread slices
1 cup chopped carrots 1 chopped tomato
1 cup fresh Corns 1 cup chopped Capsicum
1 tsp Cumin seeds 2 tsp Olive oil
Salt to taste 1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp origano
1/2 tsp turmeric Water as required

Method to make Oats cheese sandwich:-

In a pan heat 1 tsp olive oil & add 1 tsp Cumin seeds, Once cumin seeds starts to crackle, Add 1 cup chopped onion & let them cook.
Add 1 cup chopped tomatoes & cook until they are soft, add 1 chopped green chilli
Add all the vegetables in the pan & let them cook for few minutes (don’t overcook).
Add salt, coriander powder & mixed spices, stir everything together.
Add 1 cup quick Oats & combine it with the semi-cooked vegetables
Gradually Add 1 glass water, continue stirring. Once Cooked switch off the flames & let it cool down slightly. ( you can prepare this a night before and keep it in the fridge during summer)
In the morning take the bread slices apply some olive oil
Place 2-3 tbsp cooked oats and spread with a knife or spoon, place one cheese slice on top and cover it with another slice of bread.
Use a tava, pan or toaster to grill or Toast the sandwich. Once done take out the sandwiches and cut them into two.
Do the same with rest of the sandwiches.
Serve them warm for breakfast or pack in your kids tiffin boxes


  1. Nice recipe mam….Pls can you tell me that soya milk powder you made previously it was fermented or unfermented? bcoz I came to know that unfermented soy is harmful for health…
