MY BEST VEGAN BROWNIE RECIPE


Recipe:

Ingredients:
125g of ROOM TEMPERATURE vegan butter (70-80%)
a cup of sugar
1/2 cup of warm water
1/2 cup cacao powder
1 2/3 cup of flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of baking soda
1 cup soy milk
juice of 1/2 of a lemon
pinch of salt

Steps:

Preheat oven to 180C or gas mark 4
1. Mix the vegan butter and sugar
2. mix warm water and cacao powder in a separate bowl
3. add cacao mixture to butter mixture and combine well
4. Mix milk and lemon juice in a separate glass/bowl
5. mix the flour, baking soda and baking powder and pinch of salt in (again) a separate bowl
6. step by step add milk mixture and flour mixture to the butter/cacao mixture until all of the milk and flour is used up and mix until smooth
7. Line a baking sheet/ brownie baking sheet and pour in mixture
8. Bake for 30 min. (do the poke test and if stick comes out clean and not sticky, it is ready)
9. Let cool down for 10-20 minutes before removing it from the paper/ pan.
