Mint and Sage Leg of Lamb Roast (Italian Easter Recipe)


Hello! Today I’m making a classic Easter dish here in Italy : a mint and sage leg of lamb roast (cosciotto d’agnello alla menta e salvia)! This is a perfect recipe for Easter and any other time you want to eat lamb!

Ingredient amounts:
A leg of Lamb (mine weighed 2.5kg or 5 pounds, but it could be any weight)
Mint: 2 handfuls (2/3 for the marinade and 1/3 for the sauce)
Sage: 2 handfuls (2/3 for the marinade and 1/3 for the sauce)
Garlic: 2 cloves minced (2/3 for the marinade and 1/3 for the sauce)
Salt: however much you prefer
Black Pepper: however much you prefer
Olive Oil : 4 tablespoons
White Vinegar : 1 tablespoon
Parsley : a handful
