The beauty of the one-pot pasta is that it is literally all cooked in one pot. I mean, how can you not love a recipe which produce only ONE dirty pan? … Neither one of us likes dealing with the hand wash items, which really sucks …
INGREDIENTS:
½ lb. pasta of your choice
1 cup Boiled Chickpeas – optional
2½ cups Stock or water
1 cup Tomatoes
1 small red onion – sliced thin
4 – 6 sweet mini peppers – sliced thinly
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
4 big leaves fresh basil
1 – 2 garlic cloves – minced
Spinach or other favorite
Lemon Slices – 2
Vegetables of your choice can be added.

  1. hi Bhavna, I don’t have power cooker can i use heavy bottom steel cooker? Is there anything i should take care of since I am planning to use regular Steel pressure cooker?

  2. Hi Bhavna, high time you do another kitchen organization video, after all these new appliances have now been added to your kitchen, as space management is always a challenge in Indian kitchens.

  3. I’ve been wanting to make this for a while and yesterday finally gave it a try. I have an Instant Pot and set the timer for 10 mins, however the pasta came out a bit over cooked and starchy. I think it had more to do with the brand of wheat pasta that I used. Next time I will set the timer for a slightly shorter duration. I thought the flavor was light and refreshing, although a friend thought it was a little bland. As with many other dishes, the taste improved the next day.

  4. Second batch came out perfect although pasta was slightly mushy, next time I will set it to 9 minutes. Also it came out a tad too hot, think I need to cut back on the red pepper flakes. A few pinches at most , more than that and your mouth is on fire.
