Make-ahead FREEZER breakfasts! French toast sticks, egg muffins, buttermilk syrup

One of my common requests is for more quick and easy breakfast ideas! So here are a few of our favorites! Whenever you cook, try to double (or triple!) and freeze as often as you can. It saves so much time (and money!) in the long run, and hey, it makes your life a whole lot easier! Check out my food playlist for lots of other food and recipe ideas.

Toaster bags:
Silicone baking mat:
Food processor:
Mini muffin pan:

Here are the recipes I made:
French toast sticks:
I doubled this recipe, next time I will triple it!

Nana’s Buttermilk Syrup
1 Stick of butter
1 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup Buttermilk (or 1/2 C whole milk with 1T vinegar, let sit for 5 mins)
Bring that to a boil. Remove from heat, add:
1 tsp Vanila
1/2 tsp baking soda
Stir. It will foam up. Let sit for a few minutes, then serve warm. Store in the fridge.

Egg muffins:
You can add ham, veggies, whatever you’d like! I doubled this recipe.

  1. You can also vegan veganise the recipe by using chia seeds as a replacement for the egg just soak them and blitz in a blender then use plant based milk and cream ! Xx

  3. I have NO idea why I’ve never thought of using a pie dish for coating French toast. I always use a bowl and end up having to slide the last couple slices around to get them fully coated. Definitely using this idea

  4. I just saw the other video (4/28) where you said you’re 15 weeks pregnant! First off, congrats on #6!!! Second, I’m 12.5 weeks now so im about 3 weeks give or take behind you!! I know I dont know you but it’s nice knowing there’s someone out there in the world who is going through the same thing. Can you do pregnancy vlogs??
