Lemon Garlic Shrimp Linguini Recipe – Delicious Italian Food with Fresh Herbs

1/4 lb. linguini
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white wine
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
chopped fresh parsley
chopped fresh basil
chopped fresh thyme

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add linguine, and cook for 12 minutes or until al dente; drain. Do not rinse.

Heat oil and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, and saute garlic about 1 minute. Mix in wine, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat, and simmer until liquid is reduced by about 1/2.

Mix shrimp, and herbs into the saucepan. Cook until shrimp is opaque. Stir in the cooked linguine, and continue cooking 2 minutes, until well coated.

If you spill some of the sauce and it catches on fire don’t panic

  2. I saw your recipe and I am eating it right now. It is so delicious. I like this kind of video. You give simple guide lines and instructions but the overall effect is entirely up to the cook. It is so good even my husband loves it. Keep it up and Thanks.

Thyme basil and parsley. On all of my videos you can click the button that looks like a double-down arrow below the number of views for a text version of the recipe.

Thanks for watching. With a little practice you can tell when the shrimp is done, there is no set time depending on the type of stove you have or how hot it is. Basically done when pink, I would estimate 5 minutes.

  5. Nice video but it was not perfect. You provided all the ingredients You fell at :36 when you added the shrimp. You didn’t tell us how long to cook the shrimp. You added some green herbs that was unrecognizable. Remember you have a world audience and not everyone would understand what you are doing.
