  1. “Good Gravy! It’s only Brown and Water.” – Simpsons 🙂 Seriously, I’m a vegetarian and I like a little gravy sometimes, you don’t need to go to a speciality store to find vegetarian gravy. Just look at the gravy packets at your local store/supermarket, some do not contain meat.

  2. you could use any kind of non-dairy milk you have available, it should be fine. just remember that the gravy will have a hint of the flavor of the nut/seed milk you use. if you used homemade nut/seed milk you might have to use more liquid, especially if you’re like me and don’t strain your milk as the solids will act as a thickener. then again since my husband is gluten intolerant i would forgo using the flour and just use ground and soaked raw cashews for the thickener.
