  1. Ingredients :

    Sweet Potato Filling
    2 lbs sweet potatoes
    3/4 cup milk
    1/2 sticks of salted butter 4 tbsp, melted
    1/2 cup granulated sugar1/4 cup pure maple syrup
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/4 ground clove
    3 large eggs
    Topping :
    6 tbsp salted butter cold
    1/2 cup all purpose flour1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    2 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
    * butter for greasing

  2. It looks delicious and I’m sure it is but sweet potatoes are supposed to be a healthy thing and you’ve turned it into a sweet potato pie instead of a side dish of sweet potatoes

  3. Sweet potato casserole was a staple in our family Thanksgiving in SE Alabama. But, in addition to the mini marshmallows you gotta have pecans! I’m in WA State now, but I try to always incorporate authentic traditional Southern dishes from my childhood in my Thanksgiving dishes here. I love your recipe…I’m going to have to give it a try, but add pecans to the topping.
