  1. If ye leave out the relish, and in it’s place, chop up about as much bread and butter pickles as ye do celery and onions. Cut mustard to 1 tablespoon and use bread and butter pickle juice. It’ll make yer tongue slap yer brains out.

  2. im a single 57 yr old male.i have potato salt pep mayo an eggs.ill let ya know how it turns out.if i gotta go to store ta buy all that .ill just buy some potato salad while im there

  3. I know that cooking times vary, but generally, how long would the potato’s boil to become “fork tender” ? Also, what about the boil time for the eggs ? Thanks, I enjoy your recipes, and have subscribed.

  4. Oh my. Pickle juice. Yep. That seems like a winner. Didn’t think of that. So now you know I’m not a southerner. But I do ferment my own pickles and save all the brine to drink in shots. I could sacrifice some of that to a good potato salad.

  5. That’s southern all right! I can almost taste it through the computer. Don’t know if it’s a southern thing but I’ve got to have that taste of mustard in potato salad. Mayo alone doesn’t have the taste I love. Now finish serving the table with black-eyed peas or purple hull peas and tomato relish with some pepper sauce…
