  1. i have an italian friend..reall manicotti is from crepes..which ive never attempted to make..I just might make a try of this..i bet the crepes make it divine

  2. This is cannelloni. Manicotti is filled with meat mixture and usually isn’t made with pre-made tube shaped pasta but rather rolling a square sheet of pasta into a tube… if you get what i mean….

  3. Manicotti Pasta?? My great-grandmothers always made a shell that similar to a crepe.  It wasn’t hard to make the crepe but maybe it was a bit more time consuming. I dont think these noodles would match the quality of the crepe version as they take away the cheesy goodness.

  4. The shells are better if you make your own. They’re like crepes, very easy, very quick to make. Then just fill them and roll them up. These store-bought pasta shells aren’t true manicotti. Might as well just make stuffed shells.
