How To Make Italian Bread – Detailed steps for making Italian Bread Dough by Hand

This is a video I made that attempts to show all the steps I take in making Italian bread the way my grandmother used to make it. I purposely removed any talking from the video and just added some nice Italian music so you can watch the Italian bread making process and let the video speak for itself.

Making Italian Bread by hand like grandma did! Very detailed recipe and more videos found here:
Italian Bread Recipe

I also used this bread recipe for my Stromboli and Sausage bread. Good stuff!

Sure, you could use a bread machine, but there is something magical about making your own bread by hand.

  3. This isn’t the video I learned to make bread from back in 2012, but it IS the one I learned to make GOOD bread from back in 2012! I’m glad I found it again.

  4. I have never made any kind of bread before. But your YouTube video gave me hope! I just made my first loaves. They look awesome! True test is tasting…but I have to wait 🙁 . You’re were right it is tuff waiting to cut into it especially your first time! Thank you so much!!!

  5. Angel, wish I could replay to your comment below, youtube and Google+ have gone kookoo and I can’t reply to messages on youtube anymore. It’s crazyness! Anyway, so glad you enjoyed the bread recipe. It’s the best bread I ever had. Very rewarding after all the hard work. “olive oil and vinegar with salt and pepper for inside of bread”, that sounds awesome!

  6. I use to make bread this way years ago… Went through the Bread maker stage…but may just do this again…it is therapy for the soul and lots of love put in it.  Thanks!

  7. Was this in slow motion, cause I fell asleep and when I awoke, it was Still on :). Afraid to ask how long it takes him to mow the lawn. I use to knead and knead and knead just like you and I can honestly say that the no-knead bread (Artisan) is as good or better. Nice Italian music..and Santa Lucia, pray for us!
