  1. Filet mignon I usually season a little bit more than a ribeye or strip, but still just salt & pepper then topped with a thyme, & roasted garlic compound butter. A good steak needs nothing more maybe a mushroom & red wine reduction sauce instead of Tue butter or both, yum! Hell no on the sweet balsamic & goat cheese.
