I made the decision more than 10 years ago to switch to a low-fat raw vegan diet. Changing my food intake healed me from a host of diseases. Along the way I lost 86 lbs. and even changed my eye color! Not to mention my outlook on life and life itself has never been more vibrant! As a High Carb Low Fat Raw Vegan coach and mentor, I’ve worked with hundreds of people to help them achieve their health goals on a low-fat raw vegan diet.

Every week I take you inside my kitchen and pantry to share my favorite High Carb Low Fat Raw Vegan meals and snacks. I also dish out personal advice and tricks I’ve learned about how to start and stay on a low-fat raw vegan diet—everything from what’s my favorite blender (see below), to how to adapt your High Carb Low Fat Raw Vegan for busy days.

  2. Tannys hearty dip
    1½ cup spaghetti squash
    1 cup butternut squash
    1½ cup spinach
    1 lemon peeled and deseeded
    4 tbsp raw hulled hemp seeds
    A bit of water
    Sprinkle on some cayenne pepper and green onions on top

  3. Tannys carrot pulp cookie
    ¾ vitamix full of carrot pulp (carrot and spinach pulp can be stored in freezer until use/can be used in crackers or as thickener in soups and sauces)
    2 huge overripe bananas
    1 cup water
    7 pitted dates
    A scraped vanilla bean
    Blend that up very good
    Take in tbsp bits and plop onto teflex sheets, mush down a bit with back of spoon, but leave thick. Can sprinkle on some cinnamon or other spice. Dehydrate at 110 until able to peel off the sheet and dehydrate further on grid until desired chewyness or crispyness.

  4. Tanny I love your videos! Keep it up, they are very encouraging. I am on a one year raw food fast that I started when I turned 50 October 14th of last year. Started a VLOG for accountability, help and to encourage others. orJANics 50nRaw. I’ve been following the raw food movement for about 8 years doing a week here and a month there but really couldn’t wait until it was done. I want to fall in love with raw food! I’m an RN that homeschools 4 kids, I own a health and wellness studio and we are pastors. I am constantly around cooked Mexican food. But am dedicated to my fast. Hopefully by October when my year is done I will have fallen in love with raw food forever and dumped my romance with cooked food. Keep it up!

  5. You are right Tanny going raw is very freeing. I know what I can eat all the time. No wondering is this gonna make me fatter or be good for me.  My kitchen only has good food that taste good. I am always full. I love it.
