  1. Can’t wait to make it. May I ask are you using the regular yeast or the rapid rise yeast? Our stores sell it in the little packets. The have regular and rapid rise. Thank you

    Just followed your recipe but not completely. I placed a pan of water below and in lieu of olive oil, I water misted both loaf twice. At 375, I had to go over the 50 minutes in our brand new oven (has convection which I did not us) until it began to brown… also had to remove from pan and bake about 7 minutes more on oven grill grates.
    Bread tastes great, but although I allowed the rise (it was awesome to see) to work twice and the loaves really were quite large, my texture was not as airy as your photo, but more dense.
    Any suggestions?
