✿ Veganlovlie Recipes:
Today’s recipe is a collab with Lisa from The Viet Vegan. We’ve picked bitter melon (or bitter gourd) as our main ingredient and we are each making a recipe with it. My recipe is a Crispy Stuffed Bitter Melon (or bitter gourd) preparation.

  2. You are a wonderful cook , and your cameraman has a wonderful eye for filming! I will try bitter melon according to your instructions. And I wonder if sweet potatoes instead of potatoes, could be a good option, to balance the bitterness of the bitter melon? Cheers!

  3. Just found your channel. I love hearing your voice. Its so natural and not hype it. And no loud music. Your videos are so detail and the links to where to buy is so helpful. I can listen to you all day.

  4. I have looked at bitter melon and thought, why would you eat that! This recipe sounds very good so now I will try it. Thanks for the new culinary adventure!

  5. I’ve seen these vegetables at the market before but never knew how one would cook it. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It looks like a bit of effort to prepare, but I’m so curious now how it will taste… next time I spot them at the market I’d have to try out your recipe! Have a blessed week 🙂

  6. Hi! I am new to veganism [yay me!] AND I too LOVE bitter melon. It is also called “carille” in the caribbean. I’m a good cook so I am looking forward to replicating some of your dishes. Cheers 🙂

  7. Have never cooked bitter melon before. Am a bit shocked at my lack of culinary curiosity, but I will put ‘er on the list next time I go to the Viet/Thai grocery, and will try both this delectable looking recipe, and VV’s one. TFP!

  8. We never cook with bitter melon much because it’s too bitter for our taste but great tip with the salt soak, we’ll give that a try. That filling looks delicious enough it eat on its own! 😋

  9. I hope to try this recipe. my neighbor and I grew them a few years ago but I couldn’t handle the taste….you have made it look so delicious….now I want to try again.

  10. I will definitely try this. I’ve loved bitter melon (karela) since I was a kid too! I usually only slice it into discs, then fry, but stuffed looks so delicious as well. Thank you for such a great recipe!

(Also, super excited at this colab. I was actually wondering at the coincidence of two of my favorite vegan channels both coming out with karela recipes at the same time, lol!
