• 4 sandwich bread, brown / white
• ½ cream cheese
• ¼ cup sweet corn, boiled
• 1 carrot, finely chopped
• ¼ cup capsicum, finely chopped
• ½ cup cucumber, grated
• 1 tsp pepper powder
• ½ tsp mixed herbs (thyme, rosemary, marjoram, basil, oregano, sage) – optional
• Salt to taste
Method of preparation:
1.firstly, in a large mixing bowl take cream cheese.
2. furthermore, add vegetables of your choice like boiled sweet corn, carrot and capsicum.
3. also add cucumber. remember to squeeze off the juice off cucumber else the bread will turn soggy.
4. further, add pepper, mixed herbs and salt to taste.
5. Give a good mix and check for seasoning.
6. further, cut the bread sides.
7. Spread a spoonful of prepared cream cheese stuffing over one slice of bread.
8.Then, cover with the other slice of bread.
9. Gently press and cut to the desired shape of your choice.
10. Finally, serve cream cheese sandwich with masala tea.
