Wow this recipe was so good! Apple crumble is one of my favourite recipes and when I had a request to add a cinnamon twist to the dish I had to do it, and the results are great, a lovely caramelised crumble with crispy baked topping, works so well and is really really easy to make. I reckon any novice cook can make this and remember if I can make it anyone can so give it a go!

  1. I love apple crumble. What I usually do is layer apples, brown sugar and cinnamon in an ovenproof dish. Sometimes I’ll add layers of blackberries or blueberries to the apple

  2. My father does a similar recipe, but using bananas (in place of apples) and making 4 levels (banana/crumble/banana/crumble). I always think try it with apple, but without letting too much moisture to become more compact.
