  1. Hello, how does the wine change the taste of this dish?  May I substitute garlic powder in this dish? May I also substitute the real lemon with store bought lemon juice? Those are my only concerns.  I have some ingredients at home but I just wanted to simplify the dish–even more, so I do not have to go out shopping for some more ingredients.  Is there any way you could say more substitutions while you make a video?

  2. As my family has gotten smaller we have reduced our Christmas Eve “Feast of the 7 Fishes” to more like 3 or 4, so we try to make them special & popular. This is always a huge hit & loved by all. Stress-free too! Merry Christmas to you guys, and a blessed New Year!

  3. Thanks Lyndsay.  This looks delicious, and the garlic and lemon, along with the wine and spices would be so fragrant.  Wishing you and your family all the best for the holidays.  And thanks so much for so many terrific recipes in 2013.

  4. Never thought of having this for Christmas Eve. I love that sauce, the wine, garlic and lemon zest give it so much flavor. Too bad my husband doesn’t like pasta that much or I’d be making it every day. =
