INGREDIENTS IN THIS DISH:

250g of Plain Sweet Cookies (Graham Crackers / Digestives etc)
1/2 Cup of Desiccated Coconut
1/2 Cup of Crushed Nuts
2 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder
400g Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
375g of Dark Chocolate (or Milk Chocolate if preferred)
100g of Butter (chopped)
1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Oil

Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
Chilling Time: About 1 hour

MAKES ABOUT 20 SQUARES

ALL MEASUREMENTS GIVEN ARE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD METRIC

  1. hi, i was just wondering. Can I just not use that much of condense milk? Just to reduce the sweetness. And must I use coconut in the recipe? Because it can be quite hard to find the coconut powder thingy. Pls answer, I really want to make this recipe.

  2. Based on your recommendations, I used chocolate instead of hedgehogs to make this slice. Without an animal wailing and kicking around in my saucepan, I was unsure of when to add the condensed milk. However, this recipe helped a lot, thank you very much :D.
