  1. Staunch vegans will still have an issue with this due to the white sugar. White sugar is processed with bone char. So a lot won’t use it. And since the FDA doesn’t require labeling of those that are processed with bone char, it’s just best to avoid all white sugar. I first read about this just recently on another video that was labeled “vegan”, and the comment section went crazy with staunch vegans complaining that it wasn’t truly “vegan” since it contained white sugar.
