Berry Banana Smoothie: Paleo Breakfast Recipe #1


Quick and easy paleo and primal breakfast smoothie recipe. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this is one of the healthiest ways to start! Subscribe, I’ll be making about 6 or 7 totally different paleo breakfast recipes over the next few weeks!

Ingredients:
– 1 banana
– Several tablespoons of frozen mixed berries (blueberries, blackberries, rasberries and strawberries)
– Spoonfull of honey (optional)
– 1 tablespoon cacao powder (also optional)
– 1 tablespoon coconut flour or almond meal or fresh walnuts or any other kind of fresh nuts
– 1 tray of ice cubes
– 1/2 to 1 cup of almond milk
– water

  1. A good tip that I recommend is to blend everything first before putting ice. The frozen fruit act as ice, well, because its frozen. It also makes blending a bit more easier. However, that is just my opinion.

  2. Nice….adding nuts like walnuts, or sunflower seeds adds good “mouth feel” to the smoothies too SexyP. It’s cheaper for your readers to realize that frozen fruit from a bag is nearly as good as fresh fruit….paleo can get expensive otherwise…keep some frozen fruit in the freezer everyone…and adjust the ingredients every other day..and u won’t get bored….Thanx SexyP
