4 Single Serve Christmas Cocoa/Hot Chocolates Recipes | CupcakeGirl

Try one of these festive single serve hot chocolates this holidays!

Standard Hot Chocolate:
– 1 cup of milk
– 2 T of white sugar
– 1 1/2 T cocoa power
– 1/2 t vanilla essence

Peppermint and white chocolate:
– 1 cup of milk
– 2 T of white sugar
– 1/4 t of peppermint essence
– 1 T of white chocolate
*I used a candy cane Lindt ball because I had some but any white chocolate is fine

Brown Sugar and Bailey’s:
– 1 cup of milk
– 2 T of brown sugar
– 1 T of bailey’s
– 2 T of white chocolate

Gingerbread Hot Chocolate:
– 1 cup of milk
– 2 T brown sugar
– 1 1/2 T cocoa
– 1/4 t ground ginger
– optionally, a dash of nutmeg and cinnamon

1. Bring milk to a simmer over medium heat.
2. Add sugar and stir until melted completely.
3. Turn off heat add add the flavourings, eg: cocoa powder, chocolate, spices, essences, etc.
4. Stir until combined well, then pour into a mug and deck out with marshmallows, whipping cream, crushed candy, etc.
5. Drink and be merry 🙂
