  1. maybe this helps someone? instead of butter i use a tiny bit of creme fraiche and herbs. Also often works for the people who arent a huge fan of them or most kids.

  2. My favorite Christmas side dish is combining sweet potato with whatever squash (acorn or butternut) looks good at the time. I peel and cube both, dot generously with butter, drizzle with maple syrup, and bake until tender. Sweet, and much better than my Grandma’s marshmallow covered yams from childhood. LOL! I’ve never eaten a parsnip, don’t care for brussel sprouts, but I’m going to make that carrot recipe soon! Thanks!

  3. I wish this wasn’t done as a voice over, I missed your funny descriptions and comments … The voice over seemed so stiff and scripted, very un Donal! But still absolutely loved the recipes … Clever as usual 🙂

  4. Today I made some swedish Havreflarn with Kerrygold Butter, looks like I’m combining your and Sofie’s culture… 😀
Mycket välsmakande by the way! 😉

  5. favourite xmas side is these stuffing and sausage meat ball things we got from marks one year. they’re amazing!! gonna attempt at making them myself this year. any ideas on a recipe?

  6. Those carrots are definitely going on my Christmas menu! I always make brussel sprouts too, but usually roast them with garlic and butter so I think I’ll add bacon this time!

  7. I use a mixture of flour and parmesan to coat my parboiled parsnips then roast them along with my roast spuds. Parmesan and parsnips are a marriage made in heaven. P.S. Love your Brussels recipe😋
