Are we eating healthy food? This is what we ask ourselves sometime or the other. Well, the question that we need to ask ourselves is, “what exactly is healthy food”? While consuming three meals a day, your dinner is an important meal that requires you to eat the right things before you go to bed. There are a number of ways by which you can whip up meals that are not only healthy but tasty as well!

Ingredients: Walnuts, basil leaves, broccoli, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, Parmigiano-Reggiano, red pepper flakes, salt and pine nuts.
Step 1: Begin this tasty recipe by adding ¼ cups of walnuts and garlic into the food processor.

Step 2: Now go onto adding the washed broccoli, ½ a cup of packed fresh basil leaves and about ¼ tablespoons of water into the grinder as well. Grind all these ingredients well.

Step 3: Drizzle a few drops of olive oil into the mixture and mix well. Also add in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, red pepper flakes and salt as per taste. If you feel the consistency is too thick, you can add in some more olive oil.

Step 4: In the end, add in 3 tablespoons of freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano. Grind them all once again and pour the Pesto mix over cooked whole wheat Fusilli. Top it up with some pine nuts, olive oil, red pepper flakes and Parmigiano-Reggiano. Your scrumptious healthy dinner meal is ready to be eaten!


Ingredients: Zucchini, salt, whole wheat bread, Feta cheese, Arugula leaves, oil and hummus.

Step 1: Begin by first heating some olive oil in a big saucepan over medium heat.

Step 2: Place some thin slices of Zucchini into the pan and lightly roast them. Sprinkle some salt for taste.

Step 3: Now take a few slices of whole wheat bread and coat them with a layer of freshly made hummus. Crumble some Feta cheese over the hummus.

Step 4: Last but not the least, layer the roasted Zucchini slices over the cheese and sprinkle some spinach or Arugula leaves onto the Zucchini slices. If you want you can top it off with some chopped almonds as well. Voila! Your scrumptious dinner recipe is ready.

3. Ingredients: Oil, garlic pods, chicken pieces, salt, soy sauce, zucchini, carrots, orange juice and some parsley.
Step 1: Heat some oil in a large saucepan over medium heat to begin with.

Step 2: Now add in some chopped garlic and cook until they turn slightly brown and add in the washed chicken pieces into the pan. Keep turning the pieces so that it gets cooked evenly on all sides.

Step 3: Sprinkle some salt as per your taste and mix well. Cover the saucepan with a lid so that the chicken gets steamed for a few minutes.

Step 4: Now you can open the lid and add in some fresh orange juice and allow the chicken to cook till tender.

Step 5: Then you can drizzle some light soy sauce into the chicken as well and continue to stir.

Step 6: Add in some chopped carrots and zucchini to enhance the flavor. Cover with a lid and let it cook for at least 3-4 minutes.

Step 7: Now open the lid and add in half a cup of creamy peanut butter and mix well. Give your chicken a final mix before serving!
